New Boiler Scheme

Boiler replacement scheme launched 03 Sep 2012 
A scheme to replace old, inefficient boilers has been launched. Owner occupiers earning less than £40,000 who have a boiler at least 15 years old can apply to have it replaced. Up to £1,000 can be granted towards the replacement. If eligible, you can apply now for the scheme.

How to apply
The grant is dependent on total gross income. It is available to assist in either:

  • replacing an inefficient boiler for a more energy-efficient condensing oil or gas boiler
  • switching from oil to gas; or
  • switching to a wood pellet boiler
